Case Management for Head Start

In 1991, the California State Department of Economic Opportunity funded four agencies through a competitive process to conduct demonstration programs using case management principles and methods. The Center for Community Futures was funded to provide on-site training and technical assistance to these four agencies and to develop materials of potential use to other CAAs.

This information provides a practical, hands-on approach for Head Start programs to use to design and implement a case management program that will help low-income families and individuals to achieve self-sufficiency.
